Travel to Maastricht

Maastricht can be reached from the national airport in Amsterdam, Schiphol, as well from the regional airports in Eindhoven en Maastricht, Maastricht-Aachen-Airport.

It’s also possible to fly to Brussels Airport in Belgium or Cologne (Köln) and Düsseldorf in Germany.Maastricht is located in the south of the Netherlands and Amsterdam in the north-west so sometimes it’s easier and faster to fly to Belgium or Germany.

Good train connections exist to Maastricht from Paris Nord, London via Brussels, Brussels and Liege. From  the airports of Cologne (Köln) and Düsseldorf there are regular train connections to Aachen, Germany. Between Aachen and Maastricht there is bus service every hour.

Maastricht-Aachen-Airport is located approx. 15 km from the centre of Maastricht, it takes about 30 minutes by car, taxi or bus. Taxi fare to Maastricht will cost you about 40 euro.

Schiphol/Amsterdam is located approx. 220 km from Maastricht
Every 30 minutes approx. a train leaves to Maastricht.
Travel time is 2 hours and 50 minutes.
